Although the wave face and lip on the wave in this photo have some imperfections, Blake found himself in front of a capable photographer on a meaty wave at just the right moment. It’s never easy to pull in backside and make it look stylish, so that makes this shot pretty unique to me. The main thing to take note of here is that both the photographer and the surfer know their positions and jobs well enough to get the job done. Well i went over to my friends house and his dad had gotten his friends dirtbikes and we rode them all day and thats how it all started!

Well my best race i think is the last race at Dade City and i fell in the first corner as i was getting the holeshot and came back and won!
What are you planning for next season?
Umm i really dont know go hard and win! Never give up to! ANd work on the whoops....
What has been your biggest accomplishment?

We took some time to catch up with this ripping surfer from Oceanside, CA.
LOOP'D: YO SEAN WHATS UP BUDDY?SEAN: Just got back from the 3 star WQS in Puerto Escondido, my third wqs and i made the round of 64, which got me a little money back.
LOOP'D: AWESOME, CONGRATS! LET’S GET ALL THE EASY STUFF OUTA THE WAY FIRST…. AGE? LOCAL SPOT? SPONSORS?

LOOP'D: SO YOU WON THE PACSUN/SURFER HOT 100 PHOTO CONTEST. CONGRATS BRO. WHY DON'T YOU TELL US THE STORY BEHIND YOUR WINNING PHOTO.
SEAN: I ended up getting a chance to go work and surf on a charter boat this summer in Nicaragua for 2 months.The whole time i was there i was surfing everyday.This swell started to show on the charts as Strider, and matthew mcconaughey where there on the nicasurfint boat i was working on.It was the biggest swell the whole time I was there so we decided to go look at the outer reef to see if it was breaking,it was big. I paddled out on a 6'3", took off on my first wave late on to small of a board that day.and got slammed into the reef.It was a pretty nasty fall.my foot got super cut up too but still ended up getting a few after that.I PAID MY TAXES....hahah
LOOP'D: WE GOTTA KNOW...DID YOU MAKE IT??
SEAN: Nope.
LOOP'D: WE WERE PRETTY STOKED TO HAVE ALL THE PAC-SUN USA SURF TEAM RIDERS SIGN THIS BOARD. ANY ASPIRATIONS OF BEING ON THE TEAM ONE DAY?
SEAN: That would be insane, how do i try out?
LOOP'D: IF YOU HAD TO PICK A LOCATION TO SHOOT A SURFER MAGAZINE COVER SHOT, WHERE WOULD YOU CHOOSE?
SEAN: probably back at that outer reef on a big swell.super green water, light offshore, stand up pit shot.
